Proofmark Bullets

Manufacturing:
Proofmark Corp. has more than 50 years of combined bullet casting experience.  Our production equipment uses digital controls to accurately maintain proper temperatures.  We visually inspect our bullets prior to packaging and continually range check to keep the highest standards.  We are proud of the fact that our bullets have been used in setting match records over the years.

Availability:
Our products are available through quality retail dealers.  We believe in supporting the distribution system that supports our sport.  If you don't have a local dealer, please let us know.  If you are a member of an organized shooting group or have a commercial reloading operation please contact us or your dealer for details about bulk purchasing programs.

Lubricants:
Bullet lubes are supplied by a leading manufacturer of quality bullet lubricants.  We order in quantities large enough to ensure consistency.  Years of testing by Proofmark and our customers have confirmed that our lubes are very effective in reducing fouling.  They work well for both smokeless and black powders and withstand heat conditions that cause misfires with other, softer lubes.

Bullet Alloys:
Our lead alloys are made to our specifications by a specialty producer maintaining ISO 9002 quality standards.  We maintain consistency by receiving the largest possible amounts of alloy.  We check for "hardness" and other properties.  The role that "hardness" takes in overall bullet performance is often misunderstood.  Harder seldom means better.  Our alloys are as pure as possible and we work hard to keep them that way during the casting process.  We maintain a hardness of 14 to 18 BHN, since that range covers most uses for casting.

Packaging:
Proofmark Bullets are packaged in 500 count boxes, except for 45-70's, which are in 50 count boxes.  Custom packaging is available.
